  11. Apples "Apple Photo Access" system extension (available buried deep in
  12. apple.com in the CD rom installation disk image, among other locations)
  13. will let you double-click on small thumbnail desktop icons in the Finder
  14. and have the Extension automatically load the Photo CD file into your
  15. favorite program for painting (Photoshop for example) as a PICT file. From
  16. Photoshop (or other programs) you may effortlessly save as *.GIF or *.TIFF.
