  33. It does to me.  What you believe is powerful, because even if it affects
  34. none other, it affects _you_ and that makes all the difference.  *smile*

  36. I would say that it doesn't really mean anything to speak of the "validity"
  37. of deeply held, unconfirmable (at least by others) beliefs, except in the
  38. sense that they are all valid.  Certainly nobody has deeply held beliefs
  39. that they think are wrong!  But I think I'm agreeing with you here, Liralen,
  40. so I'll leave it at that.
