  25. of that exalted group the Virtual Doctors. These are poor benighted souls
  26. who have done the thesis, had the viva, dotted the t's and crossed the i's 
  27. etc. and are then condemned to limbo until the Graduation Ceremony when they
  28. become Official Doctors. Fortunately, the period in limbo doesn't last more
  29. than a year (or in my case a year less two weeks).
