- This posting reminded me of the experience a co-worker in Palo Alto had
- several years ago. He had taken a business trip to Boston where he received a
- parking ticket on the rental car. He chucked it, and returned to California.
- Some weeks later he got a letter from the Boston police demanding the ticket be
- paid. He chucked it. More letters followed with progressively sterner
- warnings. He finally wrote on one of the letters: DECEASED. Return to Sender
- That was the last he heard from them. Probably not a reliable procedure, but I
- thought it was kind of funny.
