- Besides being a poor analogy, this is simply false.

- First, there is not a single statement of quantum theory that is relevant
- for relativity. Relativity is a purely classical theory.

- Second (more subtle), one who knows only Newtonian physics would first
- find a discrepancy between theory and experiment. So, assuming intellectual
- honesty (I know that is too much but it seems already implicitly assumed in
- this discussion), they wouldn't be likely to challenge relativity.
