- No doubt he's been reading a bit too much Descartes. Although
- Descartes was a great philosopher & mathematician, I don't think his
- observation that nothing but his own existance can be certain should be taken
- very seriously. Sure, my sneses could be wrong, but an evil demon who
- constantly deceives me when I try to add 2 numbers? That's a *little*
- silly!
