  28.     Churches do community service.  Most churches have a 
  29. special organization for community aid: feeding the homeless, donating
  30. close, toys for poor children, etc...  If the judge could not think
  31. of a specific community service task for the girl to do as punishment,
  32. perhaps she thought that the pastor of the girls church would have
  33. an appropriate task available.
  34.     Also, community service is anything that helps some
  35. section of the community.  Working in a church would help a significant
  36. section of the community.  Working in a soup kitchen would help a 
  37. different section of the community.  It is still community work, and
  38. would be reasonable punishment for a minor.   I would imagine
  39. that the definition of community service is work done for any
  40. non-profit organization, which regularly uses volunteers.
