- That certainly seems to be true. But the evidence suggests (rather
- strongly) that once upon a time there was no life. But there is life
- now. So life must have come from something that is not alive, or else
- it would not be here now.

- Incidentally, I notice you say "sould/other life"; do you mean
- to propose that souls existed before life did, and life came
- from souls? If so, you've a long way to go, as you haven't
- even demonstrated the existance of souls. But at least you dont
- have to worry about the preceeding paragraph. Nonetheless,
- that kind of reasoning is what leads people to believe that abiogenesis
- must have happened sometime in the past- even if it was caused by
- some supernatural force, it still must have happened.
