  17. Once I went under anesthesia for about two hours, because I had an
  18. operation. I remember feeling funny when the pre-anesthesia started
  19. affecting my senses, and then, I was switched off. I remember nothing,
  20. absolutely nothing of those two hours; they disappeared from my sense of
  21. time, and I, my consciousness, disappeared from the Universe and appeared
  22. again later.
