  32. specifically (a) hard to manage; unruly or stubborn; (b) hard to work,
  33. manipulate, cure, treat, etc.

  35.   Note that intractable != impossible.  It could certainly be done with a
  36. powerful enough computer and several hundred man hours.  Of course, that is the
  37. simple organic reactions.  The more complex ones, like a primordial soup, would
  38. probably require millions, or even thousands of millions of man hours to even
  39. get started.

  41.   I would appreciate any counter evidence to back up your claim that this can be
  42. "reduced to simple calculations".  My sister would probably be most gratefull
  43. for a copy of these, she is having a particularly hard time in her stereoisomer
  44. separation research.
