  12.   Tin doesn't add new messages on the fly.  So as soon as I finish
  13. reading talk.bizarre, I quit the program and restart it to see if there
  14. are new messages in talk.bizarre.  I do this again after reading other 
  15. newsgroups, if I get as far as other newsgroups.
