  25. while this may be an unpopular statement, i don't think
  26. you should run a net.idiot election for Phoney. he's
  27. too new and hasn't earned the multi-newsgroup
  28. disrespect over time that darcy, k*nt, t*d have.
  29. conducting a vote for Phoney would be like giving a kid
  30. who won a few golden gloves matches a heavyweight title
  31. shot.

  33. that being said, if you are going to do it, post a
  34. first call for votes, specify a voting period, specify
  35. an address to which votes should be mailed, state that
  36. the vote taker will acknowledge votes receive and
  37. specify that votes will be published at the end of the
  38. voting period. and be prepared for lots of visitors
  39. from across the net voting for their favorites.
