- Hello fellow rooters!
- I was just wondering if anyone out there could help me out with an Etherington
- problem? I am looking for a Jane (H)Etherington born in England in 1763. Her
- father was either a Capt. or Maj. of the British forces in New York prior to
- the Rev. War. His name was George Etherington. George's son and wife drowned
- while on their way to America. Some sources say they drown in the ocean
- and other sources say Lake George in New York. George, according to family
- history, went back to England during the outbreak of the Rev. War and left his
- ng in Albany,New York about 1788. If anybody out there could help me I would
- really appreciate it. Thank you in advance.
