- Let me add my agreement to Alicia Towster's comments on 'marker names'.
- I would never have located my ggrandfather's family if I didn't know that
- my uncle's middle was from his grandfather - Winfield. My father - Embert
- Lorenzo - was named after his uncles and he frequently talked about another
- uncle named Merrit. I defy anyone to find a group of more unusual names
- in one family! I am now on to the quest of identifying my ggrandfather's
- family. There was a Merrit born in 1855 and my grandfather was born in
- July 1849. Any bets they are probably brothers?
