- According to my etymological dictionary "fuck" comes from a lower Rhein (?)
- (niederrheinische--not sure of the exact English for this German word...)
- dialect (vycken) meaning "to strike with a lash/reed". It is related to
- the Norwegian (fikle) meaning "to move heftily".
