-
- Not so long ago (assuming history isn't bunk), there were plenty of
- people around who would support a business that discriminated against
- blacks.
-
- (WARNING: Questionable deductions ahead)
- For all the years betwen Plessy v. Ferguson and Brown v. Board of
- Education of Topeka, discrimination against blacks thrived and
- prospered in the South; now, thirty years after anti-discrimination
- laws were passed and enforced, racists in the South have gone from a
- substantial majority to a minority (though a significant one). There
- might be a correlation.
-
- (WARNING: Really questionable conclusion ahead)
- And unless there is a real reason to discriminate against homosexuals,
- the same tactics might work again.
