- I don't find this very surprising. If I was a Japanese wife in a culture
- where the wife's social status on average is a little higher than the
- family dog and is expected to wait on hubby, hand and foot, from dusk
- til dawn, I would rather be alone as well. It is also not surprising
- that the 79% of the men would rather have their `maids' around ,
- then not.
