- To All;
-
- I received the following letter that I truly appreciate.
- I am glad I recieved this letter, it allows me to realize that I
- am not alone- that I am one of a growing number of people who have
- advanced toward science as an explanation of life and lifes
- purpose- as opposed to the religious explanations.
-
- The letter is complete and intact- the authors name and
- address was removed in case the author wouldn't want this
- information being made public. The letter follows:

- Dear Steve,
-
- In <6cJ6TB3w165w@iowegia.uucp> you write:
-
- > When I was younger, I believed in a deity. I prayed and
- > all that. I also noticed nothing happened. I took up science, I
- > experimented and all that. I also noticed that GREAT things could
- > happen! Needless to say, I am a scientist today- but above all, I
- > am a complete unequivocal atheist. I have no beliefs or need for
- > belief in any form of deity. I believe in science..........sq
-
- This is the most eloquent, intelligent and simple statement I've read for a
- long time!
-
- Best wishes,
