- I am glad you mentioned that. Defoliants were something
- that I had overlooked, but I know they are used. These are the
- methods of controlling tree growth under the lines. Airplanes
- spray over the power lines about 4 times a year- this is also done
- on large gas pipelines as well..............sq

- (I for one do not consider radioactive, e.g. ionizing radiation to
- be any more or less prevalant in power line areas than for the
- rest of the country. I am not sure what (fran I believe) was
- talking about...)
