  13.  Someone is supposed to have said (in the 70's I would guess) that the
  14. 'Laser is a solution without a problem' or words to that effect.
  15. Does anyone know the exact quotation and source?

  17. I have searched a heap of Quotation dictionaries,including one
  18. specifically scientific quotations source, and the Dialog
  19. online quotation database! Interestingly I did not locate **any**
  20. referenced quotations involving lasers!

  22. The only other one I know of is quoted in Svelto's book Principles of
  23. Lasers.
