- Lori Frank, Cantor at Temple Adat Shalom (and owner of a magnificent
- soprano voice) has always used and recommended hot water with lemon. The
- lemon juice clears away whatever gunk is coating your throat, and the hot
- water relaxes you - which improves both range and tone, as well as
- soothing better than cold would.
