- Clarification: This is not homework. This is from Conway's Complex
- Analysis, problem 15, page 55, second edition from Springer Verlag. I
- am using Conway's book to supplement Ahlfor's which is the book being
- used in my class.

- Can you map the open unit disk confomally onto {z:0<|z|<1}?

- I believe that this is not true but have not true but have not being
- able to prove it. At this point in my course I am not supposed to be
- able to use any of the integral formulations of Cauchy's theorem, the
- argument principle, etc.
