- I wouldn't be at all surprised if these price hikes were caused
- by libraries dropping subscriptions because of financial constraints.
- Of course, once they start raising their prices, more libraries drop
- their subscriptions, and so on. With any luck, this is a signal of an
- impending shakeout in scholarly publications.
