- Several people has been beating up on Camille Paglia. Someone even stated that
- Camille belives that math is a masculine way of thinking etc. I believe you
- have Ms. Paglia's writings confused with the femi-nazis she deplores.
-
- If you have actually READ any of her writing, you would see she insists on a
- scientific eduaction for everyone, incl. liberal arts people. I may not agree
- with her in totally, but I won't sit by and watch her views being
- misrepresented.
-
- It would appear that a lot of people in this group have as little knowledge of
- the humanities as humanities people have of science and math. This is sad. It
- esp. saddens someone like myself who has gotten a degree in math and molecular
- biology and plans to go to grad. school in art history and archaeology.
