- The best people to teach Calculus to Engineers and Scientists are
- mathematicians who are qualified at some level as scientists or engineers
- and who (1) know the engineering or science program they are functioning
- in, and (2) care about this kind of education. Most of the best people by
- this reckoning are in industry where they teach little or not at all.
