- Hello Netland !
-
- I am building a device to monitor multiple phone lines for
- a) availability (any official line attached)
- b) activity (in use ?)
- c) toll pulses (16khz 0.5sec 15V amplitude)
-
- c) is not a problem, I have a circuit.
- I also have a solution for b, but I'd like to combine it with a).
-
- The problem:
- I want to drive a LED in an optocoupler so that it is active when
- there is any voltage on the line.
- The line has 48-60V when idle, 6-13V when active.
- As far as I know, there may be higher AC voltages when ringing.
-
- My problem is:
- How do I make the LED light at all these odd voltages ?
- If a line-powered solution is possible, it'd be the best one.
-
- Next thing is, I'd like to have another optocoupler signalling
- 6-13V or 48-60V (larger than an adjustable voltage).
-
- Any help will be appreciated,
- Greetings and many thanks in advance,
