  46. Hello, when did I say "Republican Party?"  I said "REAGAN", sometimes I say
  47. "BUSH", but I did not jump on the whole party.  I believe in the idea of
  48. lower spending/lower taxes/less regulation (when less regulation makes sense),
  49. but Reagan believed in lower taxes and HIGHER spending.  ditto Bush, but he
  50. had to help pay for Reagan's party.

  52. Bush failed (thankfully) in his miserable attempt to lower the capital gain
  53. tax.  What would have happened to this money?  Would've wound up in the stock
  54. market.  To get the economy going you need to give an incentive to buy
  55. manufactured goods and services.  Giving a millionare a tax break is stupid.
  56. What will he buy?  When the middle class has the money and can buy, THEN
  57. investment will follow.
