- How do you figure? If a politician approves a spending plan which
- benefits his district at the expense of taxpayers nationwide, how
- is the politician going to be punished? The people who elected
- him think he's great for bringing 'jobs' to their area. The
- majority of the people footing the bill aren't in his district
- and can't vote him/her out of office.
