- If a write-in campaign is being conducted, the candidate needs to file with
- the board of elections. Takes something like 10 signatures to do it. The
- point being that two people then cannot claim election.

- I haven't seen a case where the law was used to disqualify a winning
- write-in. In the case of Ron Daniels, he was, IMHO, well enough known that
- it was clear who the votes were for. He was running a national campaign.
- If someone wrote in 'Steve Adams' that wouldn't be real clear, but if they
- wrote in "Steve Adams, XXXX St, Aurora" that would be very clear.
