  32. If a write-in campaign is being conducted, the candidate needs to file with
  33. the board of elections.  Takes something like 10 signatures to do it.  The
  34. point being that two people then cannot claim election.

  36. I haven't seen a case where the law was used to disqualify a winning
  37. write-in.  In the case of Ron Daniels, he was, IMHO, well enough known that
  38. it was clear who the votes were for.  He was running a national campaign.
  39. If someone wrote in 'Steve Adams' that wouldn't be real clear, but if they
  40. wrote in "Steve Adams, XXXX St, Aurora" that would be very clear.
