  15.         I've done a little checking, and the story for Canadians
  16.         appears to be this:

  18.         (a) The RSA patents do not apply in Canada, so PGP should not
  19.             present any problems wrt use and distribution.
  20.  
  21.         (b) Canada has a "monkey-see-monkey-do" pact with the USA wrt
  22.             export controls, so it would not do to send PGP out of the
  23.             country.
  24.  
  25.         (c) As in the USA, there is nothing preventing its import
  26.             from Europe (eg. ghost or garbo).
  27.  
  28.     The usual caveat about getting your own lawyer applies...
