- For sci.bio `ers
-
- There has been a debate going on in sci.chem on use of peroxide
- on wounds. Somebody suggested that this is so because its strong
- oxidizing nature kills anerobic bacteria...
-
- Maybe. But if water can sustain aquatic life through dissolved
- (molecular) oxygen, I have trouble reconciling that H2O2 can kill
- "anerobic" bacteria. I, however, do concede that nascent oxygen can play
- a dominant role..
