- Swift-Tuttle Observation; Nov. 20/21--2200-2218 UT
- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
-
- Magnitude Estimate Using 7x35 Binoculars
- -------------------------------------------
-
- Upon locating the star field with the 7x35s I out-of-focused the field
- and the comet was brighter than BD +169191 at 5.2 Mv, it was similar
- to BD +22d 03273 at 5.0 Mv, so based on that I give Swift-Tuttle a
- magnitude of 5.0.
- Sky was very clear and the limit mag. was 5.0...and COLD !!!
-
- Clear skies
