  14. I don't know whether this is a FAQ-question or not, but I'll shoot anyway:

  16. I have a friend, a scifi writer, who is interested in a list of names, 
  17. distances etc. of stars within a reach of 40 lightyears (don't flame me if
  18. I said something completely uncool; i'm a real nitwit on this terrain). 
  19. He needs the list for his following book. Any help to get hold of such a 
  20. list would be appreciated.
