- People have already responded to this, but missing an important point. This
- statement implies that NASA actually reported the size of the mountain to be
- larger than it was. This, to the best of my knowledge, is false. It is quite
- true that the vertical scale was expanded in the Magellan movie, but, as
- others have said, this is standard practice for topography.
