- Could someone please point me towards construction plans or details
- for construction of a lathe for large (long) workpieces? I need to
- turn some porch posts and the work will be 6X6 or 8X8 (inches) by
- 8 to 10 feet long.
-
- I can recall discussions where 2X12s are used for the rails, but I
- can't find any other details.
-
- Any and all help and suggestions will be appreciated.
-
- (Yes, it might be possible to turn these in sections.)
-
- Thanks,
-
