- I just bought a camcorder and would like to know who makes video
- housings for this particular unit. It's a Sony TR101 and is one of
- the 8 mm "palm" sized units. I'm pretty sure that Sony actually makes
- one that is good to 250' or so but who else would make a nice small
- housing for a unit like this and how much do they go for?
-
- I have seen a couple of other housings (last May in Cozumel on of our
- party routinely took a Ricoh 8 mm unit w/ him) but they all seemed
- pretty large (his was was cylindrical, roughly 12" round by 18" or so
- long, and had some balast inside!) and looked like they were more
- fitted for the camcorders that are longer than the new palm sized
- recordors (like the Sony FX series). With these new sized camcorders
- shooting underwater shouldn't be as much of a hassle as it used to
- be...
