- I think you mean so called "Jones counters" which are used to
- measure the length of any road course. I'm not sure but I think their usage
- is the standard for all official championships, together with the gauging
- procedure.
- If I remember right, they provide accuracies up to one meter (when correctly gauged, of course).
- Worldwide, there is only one producer in the US.
