  18. Personally, I wouldn't hunt with a shotgun.  But, maybe
  19. he didn't have a rifle?
  20. Maybe he was hungry for deer stew (it's great if you have never
  21. had it).  
  22. But seriously, I think the runner should know what kind of area
  23. he is into.  Some people have already posted that perhaps
  24. we (runners) shouldn't assume safety in every place all the time.

  26. For example, I don't go running into West Oakland after dark.
  27. I'm not going push my right-to access even though they are
  28. public streets.
