- Hmm, the neoprene waders that I bought from Cabela's this year are
- 5mm thick. They are without a doubt, the warmest waders I have
- ever owned (I got the model with the rubber boot attached). So far
- this duck season, I have only worn a single pair of white cotton
- socks in the boots, and have yet to get even the slightest bit cold.
- The guys that were with me with traditional rubber waders did get
- cold, btw. They are also the most comfortable waders I have ever
- worn. Where I hunt, we have to drag the jonboat about 1/4 mile over
- some very shallow water. The waders were about as comfortable as
- a normal pair of clothes for this task.
-
- I wholeheartedly recommend them.
