  14.     For a few years I have hunted in a hunting party on State
  15.     land, but just this season I was invited on private land
  16.     through a friend of a friend situation...

  18.     This may not work out again for next year ... but without
  19.     literally "knocking down doors of land owners and asking"...
  20.     what is the correct protocol to search out and get permission
  21.     from private owners to hunt on their property ...
