  16. get an 87 or newer, they are fuel injected.
  17. (86's and older are carburated)

  19. get the 350 ci engine, the 305 ci is underpowered.

  21. I have an 86 halfton GMC with the 305.  the thing has been reliable
  22. (never been in the shop for anything other than scheduled maintenance),
  23. but its a little slow up the hills with a load.  of course, i live
  24. at 8,000 ft, and work at 5500 feet (boulder).  your altitude may have
  25. different results.
