  18. Well, I can't argue with you here...  I've got one less kid and one
  19. more dog than you (but the second dog is pretty small), and they all
  20. ride in the cab of my wimp-size Toyota pickup.

  22.    Also, IMHO, buying a truck without the extra seat in the back (forget
  23.    those stupid side jump seats) is just plain short-sighted.  That
  24.    effectively eliminates all but Chevys, Fords, and Dodges.  IMHO, the
  25.    room in the back of a Dodge is too small (almost as bad as a small
  26.    truck), so they are out too.  That leaves you with Chevys & Fords.  I
  27.    have owned Fords my whole life, and they are solid.  But currently,
  28.    the Chevy's just plain look better.

  30. Some information...  among the wimp-sized trucks, you can get
  31. forward-facing seats in the Isuzu and Toyota; in the
  32. one-size-up-from-wimp ranks, you can also get them in the Dodge
  33. Dakota.  Of course, my eight year old son has started to complain
  34. about legroom in the back...

  36. I hear the new Dodge full-size pickup -- due out in the spring or
  37. summer -- is going to have styling that's as radical as the new
  38. Chrysler cars.  People have compared them to anteater-snout Kenworths.
