  17. The USAS 12 semi-auto shotgun.  Looks like an M16 on steroids.  Costs
  18. about $1400.  Accepts 10 round box and 20 round drum magazines.

  20. I don't recommend buying one, though.  Except for its looks (which are
  21. plug-ugly, scary or impressive, depending on your point of view) it has
  22. nothing to recommend it.  Ayoob had unkind things to say about the one
  23. someone brought to an LFI course (noted in _Stressfire II_).  Apparently
  24. it was a jam-o-matic, even with factory recommended ammunition, and
  25. shoddily constructed besides. (Internal parts began deforming after
  26. relatively few rounds fired).

  29. around if you don't have to.
