  23. Seriously, if you're teaching a deaf person to lead a normal life, 
  24. there are certain signs (s)he need to understand:

  26. Red face / clenched fists.
  27. Canine fangs
  28. Business end of a gun.

  30. These are all signs that the deaf persons *needs* to understand and
  31. needs to learn to deal with without taking action that might be seen
  32. as threatening.

  34. IE: cupping his hands over his hears (where they can be seen and
  35. are not threatening) and putting a dumb look on his face. And not
  36. advancing!
