- Seriously, if you're teaching a deaf person to lead a normal life,
- there are certain signs (s)he need to understand:

- Red face / clenched fists.
- Canine fangs
- Business end of a gun.

- These are all signs that the deaf persons *needs* to understand and
- needs to learn to deal with without taking action that might be seen
- as threatening.

- IE: cupping his hands over his hears (where they can be seen and
- are not threatening) and putting a dumb look on his face. And not
- advancing!
