- The riveted Colt magazine that I dissected simply required the drilling of
- the rivet (a .120 diameter drill fits well). With the rivet gone, the
- magazine can be disassembled and cleaned and if you so desire the
- U-shaped block can be omitted. If you save the block then you could
- restore the magazine to a 5-round capacity if the need arises.
