- Thanks to those who offered their opinion of the Casino Express Junket
- operated by the Red Lion Hotel/Casino in Elko, NV. I thought it a
- worthwhile trip, and will do it again, should they ever run another one
- out of Springfield. They want you to do all your gambling at their
- casino, but that wasn't a problem for me as 1) the BJ rules were OK
- (single deck) 2) I was too lazy to get a cab to go to wherever the
- other casino(s) is. Most of the customers were on the Casino Express
- deal. The casino is much like Vegas. Most of the dealers are ugly,
- but they are real friendly. Cocktail waitresses love to get you drunk.
- The hotel rooms are average, but OK. Oh, and I left with some of their
- money. Even with my very limited counting skills, I could occasionally
- take advantage of situations in a single deck game. Pretty efficient
- charter operation, the hotel security was operating the X-Ray machines
- at the airport terminal. They had that thing you walk through cranked
- up all the way, don't know if my innards got cooked much, but credit
- cards were setting this thing off.
