  14. First of all the free rooms at the Flamingo are a result of my having stayed
  15. there and gambled there before.

  17. The free rooms at Harrah's are another matter.  It seems that Anthony Curtis,
  18. publisher of the Las Vegas Advisor, went to Harrah's casino marketing
  19. department looking for a coupon to include with the Las Vegas Advisor (coupons
  20. from other casinos appear at regular intervals).  Instead he was offered the
  21. following free for all of his subscribers:

  23. 1. Two free nights lodging, December 20, 21
  24. 2. A Harrah's hosted party on Sunday night, including food and beverage
  25. 3. A "fun" blackjack/slot tournament with at least $2,500 in prize money put
  26.    up by Harrah's.
  27. 4. Other goodies I've no doubt forgotten.

  29. The free night at the Stardust comes from a coupon included in an earlier packet
  30. of coupons from the LVA.

  32. I suspect if you've ever been rated by a Las Vegas casino that you could
  33. promote a few free room nights in December (notoriously slow).
