- In case anyone is interested, the snow that fell on the sierras
- recently, in the last month, was very dry powder that was subsequently
- blown about by very high winds. Its not very deep anywheres, maybe two feet
- at the most. It has not consolidated worth a whit except on the sunny slopes,
- and there it has melted. Most of the rock climbs are in condition. And the
- talus slopes are definitely knee eaters with the various spaces between
- boulders filled in with snow, hiding the depths beneath..
- The approaches may be a problem, but the rock should be fun.
- All of the east and south faces are clear.
