  11. I'm looking for a small pickup, something no larger than a Chevy S10 or Ford
  12. Ranger.  Basic transportation, light hauling around town, commuting.

  14. Essential requirement is enough backseat to cram two small children into
  15. in a pinch.  The tiny jump seats in the S10 and Ranger extended cabs are
  16. good enough, barely.

  18. Questions:
  19.  
  20. 1) Other than the S10, the Ranger, and the Isuzu spacecab, what
  21.    choices are there?
  22.  
  23. 2) Anything I should know about reliability, other's experiences?  I've
  24.    never met a happy Ranger owner, but I don't have a statistically
  25.    significant sample.
  26.  
  27. 3) When did Consumer Reports last review this class of vehicle?
  28.    [Please, no flames about the utility of CU as a information source.
  29.     I am aware of CU's virtues and limitations and I know how to weight
  30.     information according to the source].

  32. 4) Safety in general, and especially are the little jump seats safe when
  33.    used with an infant or child's car carrier?
