  13. I'm not sure why everyone thinks Fords are Lemons... I'm on my third Ford, and
  14. have liked all three. I drove an 83 Mustang until 100,000 with just
  15. maintenance and a heater core at 85K. My current cars are an 89 Mustang 5.0
  16. and an 89 Ranger. Both are excellent cars. The only problem I've had was the
  17. Mustang 5.0 had it's catalytic converters go out while under warranty. The
  18. dealer replaced it free -- and no problems yet (40K). The Ranger just goes and
  19. goes...

  21. I'm also really pleased with my local dealer, Wilson Motors, as they always
  22. give me good service, and often tell me when I call for a tune-up or something,
  23. to wait because they're coming out with a special on that particular repair.

  25. The biggest pieces of junk I've seen are GM products -- I once rode in an Olds
  26. in which the dash bounced and rattled so bad it was unbelievable. I also used
  27. to own a 4Runner before the Ranger and it was unbelievable to replace parts
  28. on. Wipers were $15 a piece, mud flap replacements were $38 a piece, a bumper
  29. (when my hubby backed into a tree), was $500!
